A $100,000 professional USTA tennis tournament with equal prize money
for both men and women participants. We are one of only three
tournaments in the world that holds this distinction.
What is the USTA Pro Circuit?
The USTA has 94 tournaments throughout the country and prize money
ranging from $10,000 to $100,000, the USTA Pro Circuit is the pathway to
the US Open and tour-level competition for aspiring tennis players and a
frequent battleground for established professionals. On average, more
than 1,100 men and women from 79 countries compete on the USTA Pro
Circuit annually for more than $3 million in prize money and valuable
ATP and WTA Tour ranking points.
Supplemental Events include: Junior Pro-Am presented by Lexington Tennis
Club, Commerce Lexington Business Link, Wheelchair Clinic and Exhibition,
Tops in Lex
Pro-Am, and free Hispanic Youth Clinic.

Who: The Wall Street Journal referred to our event as "...many of
today's tennis stars first drew notice at this event. The Fifth Third
Bank Tennis Championships draws the next wave of athletes." James Blake,
Tommy Haas, Lleyton Hewitt, Katerina Srebotnik, Justin Gimmelstob and
many others have played in our tournament.
Why: Our tournament is designed to create opportunities for young
tennis players to enter the pro tour. We also hope to create money for
local charities and provide local tennis enthusiasts an opportunity to
watch professional tennis.
